I can't help but think about how the society of Paul's day called the believers "these men who have turned the world upside down" Acts 17:6b (Amp) Actually, the followers of Christ were trying to turn this upside-down world back to being rightside up. This occurs to me when I pray with someone in a public place (like a restaurant). I am not the oddball. I am only doing what is supposed to be normal for a human being. They are being weird by not acknowledging God and His goodness to us. Thanks for your commitment to God and His truth. Oh, that today's believers would be accused of turning the world upside down!! Viva la revolucion! I do believe that so many Churches have absolutely shut Jesus out. Our traditions have led us so far away from the Revolution that Jesus came to lead. The moment we walked into NR that revolution was reignited in us. God has moved in marvelous ways in our lives since the fire was lit again within our spirits. I just want to Thank you for constantly and faithfully fanning the flames to HIS Revolution. You are trulely an inspiration and we are so glad that God brought us to a place where His Son is the Center of all things. I also walked away from the church many years ago, but realized somthing was missing in my life. NRC showed me what that was....a REAL relationship with Jesus. So often when at service at NorthRidge I'll look around and see so many faces...white, black, Asian, Hispanic...and I always find myself thinking "this really is the face of Jesus."
